The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

TK/K Enrollment Events - Additional Dates
|
Did you miss our TK & Kindergarten Enrollment event on February 4? We have 5 additional dates coming up:
- Tuesday, February 25th - 3:00-5:30
- Tuesday, March 18th - 1:00-4:00
- Wednesday, April 9th - 12:00-3:00
- Thursday, April 24th - 2:00-5:00 (Preschool applications open this day)
- Wednesday, May 14th - 2:00-5:30
These events will take place at the Family Resource Center, located behind the district office at 217 Rex Ave, Jackson.
Please take note of the elementary school boundary changes, as they may affect the school in which you will enroll your student. Check your address at amadorcoe.org/enrollment

The course will take place April 7 - 23, 2025, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.

Free Suicide Prevention Training
|
Want to know more about Suicide Prevention?
QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) is designed to help all of us identify and refer suicidal persons to professionals who can assess, manage, and treat the underlying illnesses that promote suicidal behavior.

The next School Board meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 5, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642. Open Session begins at 6:30 p.m.

Last week, principals across our district honored students who have succeeded despite adversity in their lives or who have left a lasting impression on the hearts of the administrators and school staff who work with them every day. We are so excited to recognize these amazing students and their families who support them!

Adult Transition Students Celebrate Valentine's Day ❤
|
Last Thursday, the ACOE Adult Transition class hosted their second annual Valentine's dance.
Everyone who attended had a wonderful time!
The Shenandoah Adult Program is deeply grateful for the community's generosity and especially for the Jackson Rancheria's investment in helping fund school programs.
