The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

This October, we remind you to be extra cautious while driving through school zones and neighborhoods.

Thanksgiving Food Basket Application 🦃

Interfaith Food Bank is providing free Thanksgiving Food Baskets to local families in need!
The application is attached to this message. Please turn in the application to your school office by October 22, 2025, or to the Interfaith Food Bank by October 24, 2025.

FACT - Feeding Amador County Together

Feeding Amador County Together (FACT) is here to help connect families with local food pantries, meal services, and other nutrition resources to ensure no one goes without access to healthy food. Together, we can build a stronger, healthier Amador County where everyone has access to healthy food options!

School Board Updates

The next School Board meeting will take place on Wednesday October 8, at the Jackson City Hall Civic Center, located at 33 Broadway in Jackson, CA 95642. Open Session begins at 6:30 p.m.

Please note this change of meeting location due to the County Board Chambers being unavailable.
